ABOUT ME

My name is Char and I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and a host of other things....mostly good. I love reading and am a runner, but I don't do both at the same time. That's a mistake you only make once. I enjoy watching Sci-Fi and Horror films and yes, even the occasional chick flick. My favorite types of books to read are cozy mysteries and comic books, but I'll read all other types if it sounds interesting enough. I work full-time as a Records Retention Management Specialist for a transit company and spend most of my time at work sifting through boxes full of all different types of documents, determining what type they are, which department they are from, sorting them into categories, boxing them up, indexing them for easy look up and retrieval and then assigning retention guidelines that have to be followed per the State......don't everyone rush out all at once to apply for similar positions because I know it sounds like a ton of fun! Seriously though, I actually enjoy it and have worked in the records field for over 20 years.

I basically started this blog so I could have another place to write book reviews. I'm fairly new to the whole blogging thing so bare with me while I try to figure this all out.
